Scrambly is a cash back rewards platform that lets you make money online by:
- playing mobile games
- completing challenges
- trying new services
According to the company, monthly earnings typically range from $50 to $500.
But are those earnings realistic?
As a new Scrambly user, I’m impressed with this site. Is it going to be worth $100s a month? Probably not.
But I’ve made $7 in just a few days, with only a short amount of time spent.

What is Scrambly?
Launched in 2022, Scrambly is a relatively new cash back rewards platform. In that short time, however, the service has grown to over 2 million users.
At press time, the company is reporting average daily earnings of $17+ per user.
If that’s accurate, Scrambly has paid out 10s of millions of users like you and I.
Scrambly is based in Italy, but open to users in the United States, Japan, and Korea.
How Does Scrambly Work?
While Scrambly does have an Android app, all the functionality is available through its website. And it’s a pretty straightforward and user-friendly one at that.
Users can sign up with a few clicks and earn an instant a 500-coin welcome bonus.
(Each coin is equivalent to $0.001, so in monetary terms, the welcome bonus is $0.50.)
Once you’re in, you can choose from 150+ offers covering five main categories:
- Games
- Finance
- Entertainment
- Shopping
- Services
Each offer has its own rules and requirements, but generally speaking, the goal is to complete various milestones within a specified number of days.
Each milestone is assigned a coin or dollar amount — you can toggle between the two, which is also pretty cool.
How to Make Money with Scrambly
There are several different ways to make money with Scrambly.
Play Mobile Games
By far, Scrambly’s biggest category of offers is mobile games.
The way it works is simple:
- Choose a game you’re interested in.
- Download and install the app through the Scrambly website.
- Earn incentives by meeting specific criteria.
As an example, I signed up for Word Madness, which has the following milestones/incentives:
As you can see, I’m only a few days into the 30-day time limit, and I’ve already completed more than half of what’s required.
The best part is, it really only took me a little bit of time here and there to reach that point. The game is easy and enjoyable, so it’s not a chore.
Complete Offers and Services
In addition to games, users can also take advantage of various other offers, such as:
- signing up for financial apps
- installing plugins
- using certain services
For instance, there’s currently an offer for Uber Eats that will pay out $12.00 in cash back on your first order.
When you’re browsing offers, you can quickly and easily see the total you could potentially earn, assuming you complete all the necessary steps, tasks, and milestones:
Collect Bonuses
There are also plenty of opportunities to earn bonuses that can boost your earnings on Scrambly.
For instance, in addition to the $0.50 welcome bonus, I also received an email shortly after I signed up that offered me a $2 bonus for starting two games within seven days.
This could be the easiest $2 I’ve ever earned.
There are also random activity bonuses, like this one:
Finally, users are encouraged to follow Scrambly’s social channels, where they frequently share promo codes to unlock free coins and offer other perks and bonuses.
Refer Your Friends
Scrambly also has a pretty decent setup for affiliates and referrals.
Affiliates receive $10 for each qualified user they refer, and the person referred also receives $5 upon qualifying.
I personally like the referral program, which pays a $5 bonus to both the referrer and the person referred, as well as a 10% lifetime bonus on all your referrals’ earnings.
So far, I’ve shared my referral link with three people. One of them signed up, and I’ve already earned $0.35 from their activities.
Claim VIP Status
Scrambly also offers the option to claim “VIP Status,” which basically just means you’ve verified your identity.
This is an automated process, secured by Veriff, that takes just a couple of minutes, and once verified, you’ll get:
- account protection
- enhanced experience
- VIP content
- instant withdrawals
Note: This step is not required to use Scrambly or access your earnings. It’s just an added perk if you so choose.
How to Cash Out Your Scrambly Earnings
Scrambly offers a fast and flexible payout process.
You can withdraw as soon as you’ve earned just $1, and choose to be paid via:
- PayPal
- direct deposit into your bank account
- an electronic gift card
Among the gift card options are:
- Amazon
- Apple
- Walmart
- Google Play
- Visa
Note: Some reward partners have their own minimum withdrawal amount. Others offer additional perks. For instance, at press time, if you choose a Visa gift card, you’ll receive an additional 2% bonus.
I haven’t withdrawn my funds yet, but based on reviews from other users, it’s a straightforward, no-hassle experience.
Is Scrambly Legit?
Yes, Scrambly is legit.
I’m a relatively new user, but others agree — the site is rated 4.5-stars on Trustpilot:
In my first few days, I already earned over $7.
How to Maximize Your Income with Scrambly
Here are few tips for making the most extra money with Scrambly.
Use it to Kill Time
The more active you are with Scrambly, the more you’ll earn.
Whenever you have free time, pull up a game or two and play a few rounds. I personally check the list of milestones and aim to reach one goal — or at least work towards it — each time I play.
Tackle One or Two Offers at a Time
Each offer has a time limit for how long you have to complete the list of milestones.
Be careful not to take on too much at once. Instead, tackle one or two at a time so that hitting those goals will be more manageable.
Be Strategic
Not every game or offer will be worth your time. Check the details and be realistic about the amount of effort needed to maximize your earnings.
In most cases, if an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Check Your Emails
Scrambly regularly sends out emails notifying users of bonuses and exclusive offers.
Most of these are time-sensitive, so check your email frequently and be sure to jump on whatever offer they send ASAP so you don’t miss out!
Follow Scrambly on Social Media
Another place where users can snag some great bonuses and boosters is on Scrambly’s social media channels:
Like the email offers, these are usually time-sensitive, and some are only available for a certain number of users, so you have to stay on top if it and act fast.
Refer Others
You’ll earn a bonus for every qualified new Scrambly user you refer, so take advantage of that. You’ll also earn 10% residuals on all of their earnings, which is pretty sweet.
Become an Affiliate
If you’re an influencer or publish a lot of content online, the Scrambly affiliate program might be worth considering.
You earn bonus for qualified users who sign up through your link, but unlike the referral program, there are no ongoing residuals.
Compare Offers
You only get one bite from the apple, so before you accept any offer, I’d compare what’s being offered in other money making apps.
That way you ensure you’re getting the biggest possible payout.
How Much Can You Earn with Scrambly?
The amount you can make with Scrambly depends on:
- how often you use the app
- how many games/tasks/milestones you complete
- what types of bonuses and other incentives you take advantage of
The website says you can earn up to $500 a month, but that’s probably a stretch. Still, it’s possible to make some money, which is always a plus!
Like most apps that pay you for playing mobile games, unless you plan on playing 24/7, you probably won’t hit every milestone. That means your actual earnings may be lower than advertised.
How Does Scrambly Make Money?
Wait, why is this company giving me free money for playing games?
Because they’re making money, too. The game developers pay Scrambly for referring new players, and they pass on a portion of that income to you.
Scrambly Pros & Cons

- Free to Use: Scrambly is completely free to use, so it’s definitely worth signing up.
- User-Friendly: Unlike other platforms, I found the Scrambly site simple and straightforward to navigate.
- Variety of Offers: There are several different options for earning cash back, which users can basically stack to maximize their earnings.

Cons
- No iOS App: Supposedly this is in the works, but at press time, Scrambly was only available as a website and as an Android app.
- Offer Limitations: Some of the offers have stringent requirements that make it difficult to earn the advertised maximum.
- Time Consuming: To earn substantial income, you have to dedicate a lot of amount of time to completing the various milestones.
- Cost: Some of tasks require you to spend or deposit money, which can erase whatever you’d earn through Scrambly if you aren’t careful.
- Only Available in Limited Countries: At the time of publishing, Scrambly is only available for users located in the U.S., Japan, and Korea.
Is Scrambly Worth It?
For people who have time and enjoy playing online games, Scrambly can be a great way to earn some cash just by doing what you’d normally do.
While you probably won’t earn a ton, it’s definitely worth checking out!
And since it’s free to sign up and use, there’s really no downside to giving it a try.
